// C’est la récré quand Lazare, Margot et Joël, 10 ans, voient leurs camarades s’envoler depuis les fenêtres de la classe. Le ciel, par vagues, aspire tout sur son passage. S’ils ne font rien, eux aussi disparaîtront. Mais Lazare, en fauteuil roulant, voit la catastrophe d’un autre œil.
// During recess, Lazare, Margot, and Joël, all 10 years old, see their classmates flying out through the classroom windows. The sky, in waves, sucks up everything in its path. If they do nothing, they too will disappear. But Lazare, seated in his wheelchair, sees the unfolding disaster differently.

// Claire Dietrich naît à Strasbourg, déprime à Nancy, étudie le cinéma à Montréal, puis travaille pour une compagnie de théâtre à Vancouver. De retour en France, son premier court-métrage Perce-oreille est produit par Don Quichotte Films avec le soutien de France 2, présenté en compétition officielle en 2022 au Festival Premiers Plans d’Angers. Lazare est sa seconde collaboration avec Don Quichotte Films. Installée dans le Jura depuis 2020, elle collabore régulièrement avec le Projet D autour de projets mélangeant marionnettes et vidéo. Elle prépare actuellement un moyen-métrage, Où tout m’entraîne, dont le tournage est prévu début 2026.
// Claire Dietrich was born in Strasbourg, grew up in Nancy, studied film in Montreal, and then worked for a theatre company in Vancouver. Back in France, her first short film, Perce-oreille, was produced by Don Quichotte Films with the support of France 2 and presented in official competition at the 2022 Premiers Plans d’Angers Festival. Lazare is her second collaboration with Don Quichotte Films. Based in the Jura region since 2020, she regularly collaborates with Projet D on projects combining puppets and video. She is currently preparing a medium-length film, Où tout m’entraîne, which is scheduled to begin shooting in early 2026.
