// Né à Marseille, Régis Fortino est, pendant 10 ans, nageur professionnel, il termine sa course au Canada, qui l’accueille pendant 15 ans. Parallèlement à ce corps qu’il aiguise, il expérimente aux côtés de son frère plasticien, la performance, la scène et la vidéo, un 1er film sort de leur collaboration : “La Grammaire Fauve” cette expérience le transforme et en 2015, il décide de rentrer à l’école des métiers du cinéma et de la vidéo (EMCV) pour y apprendre les techniques du documentaire et tourne alors son premier film intitulé “ Les Quebecoloco” un film qui prendra 5 ans. En 2017, il rentre en France, et fort de ses expériences, il démarre, d’une part, une carrière de comédien. Sur scène dans “Pleine Lune”, TV ( “Petit Secret en Famille”), courts-métrages (Pierre, Paul, Jacque…) et plusieurs pubs. Et d’autre part, en plus de tourner des kinos ou des vidéos pour une compagnie de théâtre, il commence l’écriture de son premier court-métrage Marie-Louise produit par La Ruche Productions qu’il termine en 2022.
// Born in Marseille, Régis Fortino was a professional swimmer for 10 years, finishing his career in Canada, which hosted him for 15 years. Alongside this body which he is sharpening, he experiments alongside his visual artist brother, performance, stage and video, a first film comes out of their collaboration: “La Grammaire Fauve” this experience transforms him and in 2015, he decides to go to the school of cinema and video trades (EMCV) to learn documentary techniques and then shoot his first film entitled “Les Quebecoloco” a film that will take 5 years. In 2017, he returned to France, and on the strength of his experiences, he started, on the one hand, a career as an actor. On stage in “Pleine Lune”, TV (“Petit Secret en Famille”), short films (Pierre, Paul, Jacque…) and several commercials. And on the other hand, in addition to shooting kinos or videos for a theater company, he began writing his first short film Marie-Louise produced by La Ruche Productions which he completed in 2022.
