// Tim a perdu son père il y a quelques mois. Aujourd’hui, il est sur le point de se séparer d’Émile. Reclus chez lui, Tim replonge dans les souvenirs de leur relation, mêlés à ceux de son père. Refusant d’accepter la rupture, il se lance dans une traque numérique désespérée pour retrouver Émile.

// Alexis Diop a étudié la théorie du cinéma à l’Université Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle. En 2019, sa vidéo UPCYCLING TEMARI est exposée au centre d’art contemporain La Panacée, à Montpellier. Son moyen métrage AVANT TIM, notamment interprété par Françoise Lebrun et Pauline Lorillard, remporte le Grand Prix Contrebande du FIFIB et est diffusé sur Mubi France et à la Cinémathèque française en 2021. Alexis vient de terminer son nouveau film, ADIEU EMILE, produit par Barney Production et Remembers, et développe actuellement son premier long métrage dans le cadre de l’Atelier scénario à la Fémis. En parallèle de ses activités de réalisation, il travaille comme chargé de production et assistant réalisateur auprès de cinéastes tels que Bertrand Bonello, Mati Diop ou encore Nadav Lapid.
// Alexis Diop studied film theory at Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle. In 2019, his video UPCYCLING TEMARI was showcased at La Panacée, a contemporary art center in Montpellier. His short film BEFORE TIM (AVANT TIM), starring Françoise Lebrun and Pauline Lorillard, won the Grand Prix Contrebande at the FIFIB. It was also broadcast on Mubi and screened at the Cinémathèque française in 2021. Alexis has recently completed his latest film, FAREWELL EMILE (ADIEU EMILE), produced by Barney Production and Remembers, and is currently developing his first feature as part of the Atelier scénario at La Fémis. In parallel to his directing career, he works as a production manager and assistant director with filmmakers such as Bertrand Bonello, Mati Diop, and Nadav Lapid.
