// Née en 1992 à Jérusalem, Rachel Gutgarts est diplômée de la Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, spécialisée dans le cinéma expérimental. Son film de fin d’études, A Love Letter to the One I Made Up (6′, 2017), a été projeté dans de nombreux festivals. En 2020, elle s’est installée en France pour produire VIA DOLOROSA (10′, 2023) avec MIYU Productions. Après la première du film à la Semaine de la Critique en 2023, elle a commencé des études au Fresnoy (promotion Vera Molnár), où elle a réalisé deux œuvres d’installation présentées dans les Panoramas 26 et 27 à Tourcoing.
// Born in Jerusalem in 1992, Rachel Gutgarts graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, specializing in experimental cinema. Her graduation film, A Love Letter to the One I Made Up (6′, 2017), has been screened at numerous festivals. In 2020, she moved to France to produce VIA DOLOROSA (10′, 2023) with MIYU Productions. After the premiere at the Critics’ Week at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, she began studies at Le Fresnoy (Vera Molnár class) where she created two installation works presented at Panoramas 26 and 27 in Tourcoing.
