El Mehdi Azzam
El Mehdi Azzam est né à Marrakech en 1984. Après des études d’ingénierie et une Licence en sciences physiques, il obtient un Master en Réalisation de l’Ecole Supérieure des Arts Visuels de Marrakech.
Entre 2008 et 2010, il réalise trois courts métrages, « Le Bal des suspendus » (Grand Prix des films d’écoles du festival de San Sebastian, Compétition Internationale de Clermont-Ferrand), « L’étang » (2ème Prix des films d’écoles du festival de San Sebastian) et « Linge sale » (Grand Prix, Concours « Jeunes regards »).
El Mehdi Azzam was born in Marrakech in 1984. After studying engineering and earning a B.A in physics, he graduates from the Graduate School of Visual Arts (Ecole Supérieure des Arts Visuels) of Marrakech, with a master’s degree in filmmaking.
He directs three short films between 2008 and 2010: “Trapped” (International Films Students Meeting Award, San Sebastian. International Competition, Clermont-Ferrand), “The pond” (International Films Students Meeting 2nd Prize Award, San Sebastian) and “Dirty laundry” (Grand Prize, “Young outlook” competition, Morocco).
