// Mars 500. A mission to simulate life in total isolation for the 2030 spatial epics. Joana, a French psychologist, undergoes the last tests to find out if she’ll be selected. Private questions mingle with projections of memories and messages from relatives completely made up. Her reactions and emotions are scrutinized. If she succeeds, she’ll be sent off for 1 524 days of isolation. But it’s also the day Pascal, her ex-lover, needs answers about their relationship.

// During many years, at the end of his philosophy studies, Jonathan Millet films far-off countries or inaccessible ones for image databases. Alone with his camera, he crosses and films about fifty countries (Iran, Sudan, Pakistan, South America, the Middle East and Africa back and forth). Following this experience, he directs six short fiction films (including And Still we Will Walk on, selected at the 2018 César Awards, and The Wake, a medium-length feature released in theaters in 2018). At the same time, he works on documentaries about territory and solitude (Ceuta, Prison by the sea released in theaters in 2014, Tell me about the Stars shot in Antarctica, and The Disappearance shot in Amazonia in 2021). In 2023, he shots his first feature film, Lifes of Hamid.
