// Née en 1992, Iris Chassaigne vit et travaille à Paris, notamment en tant que scripte. Diplômée de la FAMU, école de cinéma de Prague, et de l’Université Paris VIII, elle y réalise en 2018 son film de fin d’études Les gens qui roulent la nuit, sélectionné aux festivals Côté Court à Pantin et Go Short à Nimègue. En 2021, elle écrit et réalise Swan dans le centre, sélectionné à la Semaine de la Critique à Cannes et dans de nombreux festivals internationaux, dont le festival norvégien Minimalen où il remporte le prix du meilleur court-métrage. En 2023, elle coréalise avec Jehnny Beth un court-métrage musical, Stranger, présenté en Séance Spéciale à la Semaine de la Critique.

// Born in 1992, Iris Chassaigne lives and works in Paris. She graduated from FAMU, the film school in Prague, and from Paris VIII University. In 2018, she directed her graduation film The People Who Drive at Night(Les gens qui roulent la nuit), which was selected at the Côté Court Festival in Pantin and the Go Short Festival in Nijmegen. In 2021, she wrote and directed Swan in the Center(Swan dans le centre), which was selected for the Cannes Critics’ Week and screened at numerous international festivals, including the Norwegian Minimalen Festival, where it won the award for Best Short Film. In 2023, she co-directed a musical short film with Jehnny Beth titled Stranger, which was presented as a Special Screening at Cannes Critics’ Week.
