// Alexis Loukakis discovered cinema sets in 1984, as he was playing an elven years old role during the shooting of a serial. He perfectionated his acting technic in Paris at the Cours Florent (acting school), and shoots for different tv series or advertisings. As he wished to learn the technical aspects of cinema by himself, he starts his career as a location manager, and becomes then an assistant director. Thanks to that, he worked among others with Régis Wargnier, Claude Lelouch or Alexandre Arcady. He associated with a producer to create the company “Drôle de bobine” in which he developed advertising concepts and directed different commercial films. In 2001, he shoots his first short film (“Absurdus”), followed by “Coup de poker”, and then by “Exode” (in collaboration with the ACHDAEM), while he was still writing scripts. His first success opened to him the gate for a collaboration with Dog production or Europacorp. His six short films totalize 80 selections in French or international festivals, many tv broadcasts, and have been awarded for about 40 times. In the beginning of 2016, he obtains the jury price for his film “Je suis en résonance” at the Nikon Film Festival. He’s now working for the development of different projects and he’s writing his first feature film.
