// Né et élevé en banlieue Parisienne, Romain Pham Roellet est un jeune réalisateur Franco-Vietnamien. Il tombe amoureux du cinéma à l’adolescence et depuis il écrit et réalise, d’abord de manière autodidacte puis en suivant un cursus à l’ESRA Paris. Passionné par la photographie de rue, il tente d’amener la spontanéité de cette discipline dans son cinéma. Il travaille maintenant en tant qu’assistant technique à Blackship, maison de post-production. Aidé par une équipe passionnée, il y développe des projets de courts métrages, de documentaires et de clips.

// Born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, Romain Pham Roellet is a young French-Vietnamese director. He fell in love with cinema at the age of 16. Ever since, he writes and directs movies. First self-taught, he then joined the ESRA, a film school in Paris. He tries to bring his passion for street photography into his cinema. In 2021, he directed « Herdnas », a short documentary that was broadcast by French national TV. His first fiction short film, « Jean Fell in Love » was broadcast by Canal+ during the summer of 2022 and is now touring festivals. It was selected at Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2023.
