// Depuis plus de 30 ans, Cora se lève tous les jours à 4h du matin pour aller travailler à l’usine et élever sa fille, Alex, partie, à son grand dam, tenter une carrière artistique à Paris. Au moment où la retraite sonne, Cora aimerait bien qu’Alex abandonne définitivement ce choix hasardeux, mais Alex prépare son premier film.
// For 30 years, Cora has woken up every morning at 4am to go work at the factory and raise her daughter, Alex, gone to Paris, much to Cora’s regret, to try to become a filmmaker. As Cora is about to retire, she would very much like Alex to finally abandon this risky choice, but Alex is preparing her first film.

Pauline Gay étudie les lettres et l’histoire de l’art à l’université de Bourgogne, les arts du spectacle à Paris 8 avant de rejoindre le département réalisation de la Fémis. Elle y réalise plusieurs films sélectionnés dans de nombreux festivals internationaux. Demain, ça sera bien, son film de fin d’études est notamment présenté à la Quinzaine des cinéastes, il remporte deux prix du meilleur court-métrage au Festival du film de Gand ainsi qu’au Festival de Films de Femmes. Il est également nommé dans la catégorie meilleur court-métrage européen aux European Film Awards.
Pauline écrit actuellement un long métrage dont le scénario a été soutenu par la SACD Beaumarchais.
// Pauline Gay studied literature and art history at the University of Burgundy, and performing arts at University Paris 8, before joining the directing department of the La Femis. There she made several films that were selected for numerous international festivals. Demain, ça sera bien, her graduation film, was screened at the Quinzaine des cinéastes, and won two prizes for best short film at the Gent Film Festival and the Women’s Film Festival. It was also nominated for Best European Short Film at the European Film Awards.
Pauline is currently writing a feature film, the script for which was supported by SACD-Beaumarchais.
