// Ori, une enfant sensible de 10 ans, passe ses journées avec ses deux frères à taquiner leur voisine et propriétaire Hava. D’abord bon enfant puis franchement cruel, le conflit de voisinage dégénère, faisant écho à d’autres tensions lointaines mais profondément enracinées. Quelque chose en elle commence alors à se rebeller.
// Ten-year-old sensitive Ori spends long days in the garden with her two brothers, teasing their elderly landlady, Chava. But as their neighbor conflict spirals from a children’s game into cruelty, echoing deep-rooted tensions from outside their garden, something inside her begins to rebel.

Son court métrage de fin d’étude Shitheads particulièrement remarqué en festivals, obtient une mention spéciale au Jerusalem Women’s Film Festival. The Landlady est son premier film produit.
// May Resh is an Israeli writer, director, and editor in exile in the United States. She studied at the Sam Spiegel Film School, graduating in 2022. Her graduation short film, Shitheads, received particular attention at festivals, including a special mention at the Jerusalem Women’s Film Festival. The Landlady is her first produced film.
