Xavier Sirven
Né en 1980, Xavier Sirven est réalisateur et monteur. Il effectue d’abord des études d’ingénieur sous la direction du philosophe Bernard Stiegler. Il travaille ensuite comme ingénieur de recherche à l’IRCAM (Institut de Recherche Acoustique Musique) puis au Centre Pompidou. A cette époque il est également acteur au sein de la compagnie de recherche théâtrale d’Emmanuel Ostrovski. En 2007 il intègre le département montage de la Fémis. NOT K.O est son deuxième court-métrage produit par Barney Production avec qui il développe actuellement son premier long métrage : Evangile d’un Hacker.
Born 1980, Xavier Sirven is a film director and editor. He first studied engineering in France, specializing himself in Cultural Industries under the leadership of philosopher Bernard Stiegler. He then worked as a research engineer at IRCAM (Research Institute of Music) and Centre Pompidou (National Center of Art and Culture). At this time, he was also an actor in the theatrical research company of Emmanuel Ostrovsky. In 2007 he entered the editing department of La Fémis (French National Film School). ‘NOT K.O.’ is his second short movie with Barney Production, with whom he is developing his first feature film, ‘Gospel of a Hacker’.
